• Registration for Legion basketball 2026 begin in August. 
• Be sure to check our website for grade-specific Legion basketball registration details.
• It’s very likely that 3rd grade and up will transition into the league instead of LPRD. This change will introduce new registration processes, fees, uniforms, and more.
• Depending on athlete numbers, 2nd grade and younger may continue playing through LPRD.

At Legion, we are always learning and improving so we can better support our athletes—helping them build their skills, strengthen their foundation, and continue growing both on and off the court.

For the 2025 basketball season, we decided to participate through LPRD under the Lawrence Legion name. This gave our athletes another great opportunity to sharpen their fundamentals, develop their game knowledge, and welcome new players into the program before transitioning fully into league play.

During this season, our 2nd grade coed team stepped up to compete against 3rd–4th grade teams and finished the season undefeated! It was incredible to watch our athletes rise to the challenge, showing teamwork, confidence, and determination throughout the season.

• Practices Begin: October (approximately 1 practice per week)
• First Game: November 2025
• Season Ends: December 2025
